What is it?

Keitetsu is a series of acrylic standee dioramas depicting scenes inspired by Japanese trains and the environments that they travel through.
Each diorama is packaged in a sleek, slipcase box. It's perfect for displaying alongside its respective acrylic standee train and background or for presenting as a gift! Inside the box you will find the acrylic train, background, and base to place them on.
Mix-and-match!

You can mix-and-match the trains and backgrounds from each set to find the scene that speaks to you.
About the name...

Keitetsu or 携鉄 means "portable railway" in Japanese. If written in hiragana, the name could also imply "light railway" - similar to the term for Japan's popular, tiny "kei cars".
Who made this?

I'm Daniel Chan, a graphic designer that loves Japanese railways. I've worked on all kinds of projects from books, comics, logos, to lunch boxes.

Keitetsu initially started as a way to do something just for myself. While my years of working with clients has been rewarding, I wanted to make something that I had complete control over from the initial concept through to the production and final phases.

In the end, I realized I had something that could potentially appeal to others so I thought I'd try starting a small business where I sell cute, little train dioramas. Thank you for checking out my project!
